The Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame was established in 1971 by Buzz Ryder. Its purpose was to recognize outstanding achievement by Michigan country music performers & promoters. In 2014 the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame was moved to West Branch, MI. They currently put on 3 shows a year to help raise money for the hall of fame, and what better way to celebrate and promote the Hall of Fame than with a new website!
Custom WordPress Theme
Because the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame never had a website, we were challenged with coming up with a unique design that combined both a classic country feel with a new and attractive design. We needed a scaleable way to highlight past and present inductees, as well as showcase upcoming events and radio podcasts. They loved it!
What we did
We worked closely the folks at the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame to come up with a way for them to showcase their past, present, and future inductees. One of the things they asked for is to be able to create individual bio & promo pages for each inductee once they collect all of the necessary information on them. We also created a way for them to share their radio "Spotlight Interviews" by giving them a page for each interview that allows fans to link to and comment on their favorite interviews.
