Uniting Delaware County Around Prevention
An outdated site that couldn't keep up
The coalition shows up all over the county, from the county fair and First Fridays to school events and medication take-back days. But their old website was outdated, with broken pages and broken links, and the events section in particular was hard to use and hard to keep current. Parents, students, and partners needed one reliable place to find what’s happening, get trusted local resources, and see how to get involved.
What we did
Over a multi-month redesign, we rebuilt the site in WordPress around the coalition’s mission and refreshed brand, with a focus on clean design and an easier experience for every visitor. Highlights include:
- A rebuilt events calendar that keeps the coalition’s community calendar in one place
- A resources library with local reports and partner organizations
- An interactive map of drug disposal box locations across the county
- A live Instagram feed so the homepage stays fresh
- Campaign pages like Drink Less, Stay Sharp, with a self-assessment tool
The result: coalition staff now spend far less time on website updates. They can make changes themselves quickly and easily, or send quick requests our way.
